The Origin Story -or- “You Won’t Believe How We Leveraged a Woodland Creature’s Surprising Talents to Build a Bingo Empire Using This One Trick!”

Bingo is not a typical raccoon. He’s an artist, a dreamer, and, above all, a master bard. By night, he roams the forest serenading his woodland friends with tales of epic feasts, trickster crows, and dramatic dumpster diving escapades. By day, he’s crafting custom bingo cards that are as clever and layered as his songs.

One day, Bingo knocked over the trash can at the house of Janie and Mike Hughes. While digging through their trash, he noticed two things. First, they looked like fun people to hang with, based on the impressive number of candy wrappers and the discarded shrink wrap from video games. Second, from the papers he uncovered, it looked like they were boring technology consultants. Bingo decided he wanted to meet these odd humans, if for no other reason than to get his paws on some of their candy stash and ask why on earth they are still buying physical copies of games (turns out that is a touchy subject).

At their first meeting (fueled by peanut butter cups and crunch bars), Janie and Mike told Bingo about their longtime dream of creating and sharing custom online bingo games with their friends and family. Janie had some ideas, and Mike had the technical skills, but something seemed to be missing. Bingo bragged about his skills as a master bard and shared some of his clever bingo squares with them, but lamented about the difficulty of coding with his little paws. They immediately knew they had to team up. He also advised them to start shredding their documents, you never know who is going to be digging through your trash.

Things began to move quickly. Bingo and Janie hung out in the forest, working together to craft hilarious cards. Meanwhile, Mike was locked in the raccoon den, feverishly cranking out the code and occasionally appearing to share the snacks Bingo would collect. They worked pretty well as a team and their hard (but fun) work resulted in this first iteration of BingoBard.

There are countless treats that Bingo is keeping under wraps in his trash can, so stay tuned to see what cool features and surprises he unveils in the future. You can follow us on all the socials, where we will post updates as we go. Thanks for playing!

Oh, and if you’re wondering about that “one trick” that we used? Candy. Raccoons love candy. Almost as much as we do. Janie, Mike & Bingo
